For the past year we’ve had the privilege, thanks to Glenshire Brands LTD, to work on bringing to life and rebranding a large number of Pizza Hut stores around Scotland.
This has been an exciting journey working closely with the team at Glenshire Brands Ltd to create a new brand identity for the international pizza chain. This included taking inspiration from existing brand guidelines and creating brand new and bespoke signage for the stores.

For these stores, we have fine-tuned a strict work ethic to adapt the overall design and keep each store consistent with the elements we can provide. For example – using the same bright red vinyl for our fascias and any red window graphics and internal signage required to keep colours consistent throughout, keeping our LED neon signage the same sizes where possible and proportionally scaling any required artwork to suit the space available.

Over the past 12 months we’ve come across a few stores that require fascias that continue round the corners of the building – when these sorts of projects arise, we’ll never create two separate fascias and butt them together, we’ll always go the extra mile to take precise measurements and make our sign trays one continuous sign. This ensures that our sign trays look clean and seamless as they wrap around each building.

One of the most interesting rebrand & signage update features of our Pizza Hut sites is the illuminated details within the fascias we produce. We use a mix of 5mm flush through, 10mm push through and 20mm push through elements. The 5mm flush through sections sit perfectly in line with the face of sign tray, while the 10mm and 20mm sections are raised 5mm and 15mm beyond the face of the sign tray to add a nice amount of depth to the sign tray.

Our team are incredibly proud of the number of stores we’ve been able to work on and complete over the past year and look forward to seeing just how widespread these projects will become in the future.
