We recently manufactured and installed totally bespoke LED signage, custom pillar covers and the very latest LED neon to this beautiful new restaurant right in the heart of edinburgh.
This project consisted of a 45ft long folded ACM tray which was finished off in matt metallic dark grey premium wrapping vinyl. We manufactured the logo from solid 20mm opal acrylic and finished the lettering off with beautiful, polished gold stainless steel faces giving the logo a subtle yet effective side illumination using super bright white LED modules. The client requested the new timber fascia to be completely covered with our fabricated sign trays, so we added in very bespoke folds to ensure the gable end of the fascia and all edges were totally concealed for a totally high end, flawless finish.
Underneath the sign tray we installed recessed LED neon flex lighting, which is hidden to create a seamless, crisp glow of light along the bottom of the fascia which is beamed down onto the 7 fabricated ACM trays we fitted onto to the pillars which are also wrapped in the same high quality grey wrapping grade vinyl. These covers have extremely bespoke folds to follow the uneven surface of the pillars to leave them looking perfectly uniformed.
The feature entrance which we also fabricated in house was the icing on the cake for this project! Standing at 12 foot high and 10ft wide we made this extremely bespoke, fabricated matt black ACM sign in 3 sections with a continuous crisp white edge lighting that was CNC cut out of the sign and we faced this with the same polished gold stainless steel used for the main fascia sign and we installed this to the sign onsite to completely hide the joins in the acrylic. The external and internal folds were also manufactured to cover the uneven timber entrance way which sat proud of the main fascia sign and these varied in sizes, from 60mm to 290mm. Not one single fold was the same as we had suit the existing timber frame and conceal it totally for a truly magnificent finish!
The full project consisted of over 650 super bright white LED modules, 10 metres of LED neon flex and 7 LED transformers. All the cables are neatly hidden behind the trays and all the drivers are stored in a compartment we specially manufactured and installed to give the very best finish possible and so the sign will never have to be removed in the future for any maintenance or repair work.
The final outcome, one very happy client who is over the moon who has had loads of compliments already from impressed locals and passers-by!
