ECO-FRIENDLY SIGNS, SUSTAINABLE SIGNAGE, SUSTAINABLE PRINT

Growth & Sustainability

When I joined Specialized Signs, I had over 25 years’ experience within the print industry across a wide range of sectors. I had come to a point where I was seeking a new challenge and a chance to develop my career. Being able to really use the knowledge and experience I had gained over the years, was just one of the reasons I was keen to accept the job offer from Specialized signs. Eco-friendly Sustainable signs.

From my first meeting with Graham (our MD) I was left with the impression that he was a focussed, driven and forward-thinking individual, who wanted his company to stand out from the rest and be a market leader in the industry. Over the last two and half years since I joined the company, I have witnessed Specialized Signs’ continued growth, even through the most challenging of circumstances that we have all recently experienced.

Under the guidance of a MD who not only invests in the latest technology and equipment, but the company also invests significant time in people. This has resulted in Specialized Signs having an amazing workforce in place which in turn, ensures that our customers always receive the best possible product at the best possible price.

Eco-friendly Sustainable signs

We are currently one of the market leaders of signage in the country and we have seen continued growth year in, year out; so much so that the company intends to move to a new state of the art purpose-built premises in 2023. The move will allow us to keep producing our amazing products for our existing and ever-growing customer base across the UK and beyond.

As a company when we’re looking to invest in new print technologies, we recognise the importance of using more sustainable products and equipment. We were one of the first companies in the UK to install the HP Latex R1000 flatbed printer in 2019. This allows us to print using UL ECOLOGO certified water-based HP Latex Inks. These inks produce an odourless print, which is safer for our environment and results in far less wastage than conventional UV flatbed printers. We have also recently invested in the HP 800 roll to roll printer in 2021. This means we only use water-based inks in-house, helping us be a more sustainable company and minimising our impact on the environment.

Sustainability will continue to be a large part of the company’s ethos as we move forward and into our new premises. One key focus will be to recycle as close to 100% of the company’s waste material as possible.

You can find details of the wide range of sustainable materials we use on our website or speak to our highly skilled in-house Design team and Project Managers; they will be more than happy to talk you through your options that guarantee you find exactly what you are looking for when it comes to you and your company’s needs.

Our investment in sustainability along with our specialist in-house team of Project Managers, Designers and Manufacturers, make Specialized Signs the perfect partner for your business’ next project.
