LED Signs Glasgow, Illuminated Signs Glasgow, Signs Glasgow

Specialized Signs have recently completed the supply and installation of signs at two sites for 6 Degrees North Specialising in Belgian beers, who showcase beers from their own brewery alongside some of the finest home grown UK & European craft beer.

The project consisted of main fascia signs, folded aluminium sign panels fret cut, with built up letters set inside the panels to create an embossed effect. The edge of the letters are lit with bright white led modules. This gives a subtle and understated illumination. The finish of the panels is a brushed zinc effect complete with matt lamination. One of the challenges we faced was to try and create the zinc effect in print and ensure that the colour was a match to the architect’s specification. There is a brushed texture running through the print, therefore as each fascia comprises 3 or 4 panels it was critical that the vinyl was done as one continuous print. The print was done on polymeric vinyl with a polymeric matt laminate to make sure there is no shrink back at the joins.

Included in the project were built up letters complete with halo illumination. The returns of the letters were painted to a specific RAL colour and the faces finished in the same zinc effect print. A bespoke aluminium A frame pavement sign, the header fret cut and painted black, the bottom of the sign was finished with a branded print and matt laminate.  To complete the internal décor we supplied and installed various internal printed graphics and we were contracted by the company doing the main fit out, to CNC cut a number of MDF panels, these were then painted and installed..Double sided fret cut internally projecting sign with partially illuminated return. Finally to complete the look we produced branded safety manifestations for various glazed door panels in the pub.

Result, a happy client and architect, we are now looking forward to commencing the next addition to their portfolio.
