I joined Specialized Signs just over a year ago with over 15 years’ experience in administration. I have undertaken various roles both within large organizations; working as part of a team as well as working more independently within a small family run business.
My role, here at Specialized Signs, is very varied and I love the challenges that meet me on a daily basis. I work directly under our Head of Finance, Veronica, but also provide support to our Project Managers and Designer team. No two days are the same, and I am able to reflect on my experience and knowledge from previous roles to deal with the fast pace that flows throughout the office.
I quickly realised that Graham our MD is extremely committed and focused and strives every day to ensure that this company is one of the signage industry leaders in Glasgow, Edinburgh and throughout the country. We invest in the latest equipment and materials for our workforce to use which enables us to finish our work to a high standard and most importantly our customers are consistently satisfied that their expectations are exceeded.
Our team is the most important factor in our business success and we invest a huge amount into professional development so everyone reaches their full potential. This results in the same amount of effort being given back in return, and we have excellent staff retention. The variety of experience and knowledge each of our team members bring to the company is a huge asset and enhances the company as it continues to grow over the coming years.
We thrive to stay at the fore front of the signage and wrapping industry in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the whole of the UK and we will shortly be moving to brand new purpose built premises in 2023, this will allow us to grow our customer base across the UK and beyond.
Despite being one of the largest suppliers of signage and wraps within the country, it is clear that we will continue to grow and that the future for Specialized Signs will only become stronger and will continue to evolve over the coming years.
